Seattle University, founded in 1891, is a Jesuit Catholic university located on 50 acres in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. 7,500 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within eight schools and colleges.

In U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges 2013, Seattle University continues to rank in the top 10 among universities that offer a full range of undergraduate and master's degrees in the West. The university has held a spot in the top 10 for more than a decade.
